Here's an outline for how I added Chademo to my Beetle conversion, other controllers my differ. The Due and shield board can be substituted with the Leaf VCU from EVBMW

Required Parts

Arduino Due
Shield Board (https://oshwlab.com/jamie84.jj/duechademo)
Isabellenhutte IVT or IVT-S shunt
2x contactors
Chademo port
Relay
Firmware

Connections

Wire up the socket as per the diagram below.
