Re: Tesla Charger Support Thread
Good news! got one of my chargers to work. Always a "stupid" problem. for some reason my breaker popped on the incoming power and that's why the one charger that otherwise seemed like it was working perfectly but the EVSE wouldn't click on. Once I noticed that, it fired right up. So... For those ...

Re: Tesla Charger Support Thread
Anyone have a DBC file for the onboard comms? I made one, but I was wondering if anyone has one that might have more values populated.
Particularly interested in the "Status" bits in 0x217, 0x219 and 0x21B and what they mean.
I Attached my current DBC, change the extension from TXT to DBC and it ...

Re: Inverter Firmware v4.85.R
Second on the comments for dummies thing. I've been writing a lot of code for my can interface device on the Arduino IDE, but I look at the code for the inverter and it just flies right over my head. Personally, I comment nearly every line (except for the obvious) on what I'm working on so I know ...

Re: Tesla Large Drive Unit Support Thread
Hello, does anyone know if there is a harware difference between base and sport LDUs?
Definitely a different inverter. The IGBT's in the base unit are rated at 75A, while the sport has 120A rated IGBT's that can peak even higher than that, the leads will melt though if they are hit harder than ...

Re: Tesla Large Drive Unit Support Thread
Have had some good test run att 55Volt.
Tested 110Volt and got into a problem. At 7000rpm the DC minus cable fuse blow at 25 amp...motor made a jerk and stoped functioning (DC bus down). One led ( pen pointing at) on the inverter card on the picture lit up.
When I try to restart and set ut to ...
