IGBTs for sale

Post by Jan »

Hi Guys,

I stumble upon some used IGBTs - InfineonFZ600R65KF2. They are used but still in perfect working condition. The units have been swapped for preventative measures. I have about 2000 units :o . The price is €100 each. Anyone interested?

You have $200,000 of IGBTs?

Jeez.

4 megawatts each? 8 gigawatts total?

That's enough to control 8 nuclear power plants.

You could use them as wallpaper I suppose.

Ok, I wasn't misreading the specs then....

These are crazy IGBTs..and seems quite a deal for those wanting to build their own (or upgrade?) power section...

Looks like you will need two units per phase as they don't seem to be Half bridges. Six for a three phase power section.
If so, you could make a serious DC controller with them instead.

That depends on what you compare with, my Toshiba IGBT (from 1999) has max forward voltage of 3V at 400A 25C.
This one has max forward voltage of 4.6V at 600A 25C.

So if I put it in my truck, I will get the same loss at 400A
