Re: Tesla DC to Dc Deushte connectors
I'm not familiar with the Tesla DC-DC converters, but it might fit with this Molex connector:

Re: Tesla DC to Dc Deushte connectors
Works great. Now I got to find some pins. Bought some for my amp seal 23 pin ms3 connector that I do not plan on using. Maybe they will fit? Gotta go check. Thanks for all the help!

I think I found them and I just ordered these. opened up the dc to dc converter and the wires had 22 awg written right on every wire.

Re: Tesla DC to Dc Deushte connectors
still on the lookout for the blue connector and harness if anyone wants to sell one or if anyone knows someone that wants to sell one. I will probably ask Rich from Rich rebuilds if he has one. That is how I got most of my componants. They came out of his junk teslas.

Re: Tesla DC to Dc Deushte connectors
Ok so the part slid right into my dc to dc. That felt great! However, now I got a new problem. It will not plug into my HVFJB (High Voltage Front Junction Box). So now I am guessing that my model years of my componants are all from a newer model model s? Darn, so either got to start splicing wires or possibly buy a newer dc to dc. Really like the idea of keeping everything plug and play as much as possible. Last electric car I built caught on fire because I was a little too sloppy. Trying to do a lot better this time around.

Re: Tesla DC to Dc Deushte connectors
At least three versions of the Model S have been produced. One solution is to use the part numbers from the Tesla documentation and match that against the labels on the part being sold.

Re: Tesla DC to Dc Deushte connectors
think I am just gonna buy this one because I looked up the model year of my HVFJB and it is a 2016,2017,2018 model year part.

Re: Tesla DC to Dc Deushte connectors
Yeah I really need to take more time and figure out how people line up part numbers with proper part number parts. Bought another dc to dc with a different style plug that will not connect to the high voltage junction box. Darn!

Re: Tesla DC to Dc Deushte connectors
Any idea where I can find the proper tesla documentation. I believe I was getting close at one point looking at the tesla repair manual on here. Is there some other tesla documentation I should be looking at? Thanks.

I usually find a lot of information regarding partnumbers on this site:

Re: Tesla DC to Dc Deushte connectors
really appreciate the link. I think it will be really helpful. The only part that I can find that looks like the part I need is this HV harness.1045091-00-D https://elektromobili.ru/parts/tesla/mo ... j-dcdc-mx/
It could be the one. Just not sure. Wish the website was more specific with model years. There seem to be a few at least that are not listed on this website because I already bought a couple different ones elsewhere.

Re: Tesla DC to Dc Deushte connectors
Ok so I figured out why my new dc to dc converter hv connector wont fit my hvfjb. The company I purchased my second dc to dc converter (S/N 1028665-00-C) from accidentally sent me the same earlier model I already have. Totally just realized that it was not the same as the dc to dc converter photo that was on the Ebay listing. So I let them know and they were pretty cool about it. Gonna ship it back tomorrow and hopefully have the model I need soon(S/N 1026650-E). Haha I am glad I got it figured out.
