I can access the web interface OK on this board but have the following issues:-
1. If I change a value ( eg make “Fslipspnt” = 1) I get a “Set OK” message. If I then do a parameter download, the value I entered is not there, it is still zero.
2. If I do a save to flash, I get a message saying the flash to memory has occurred ( and checksum value ), and then if I turn power off and on again, all the data has returned to default values, and if I try restore from flash nothing happems
3. I have tried editing the download file, then uploading it. As it uploads I can see messages indicating each value it sets and a corresponding “Set OK” message. However if I do a download the values are not the same as what I just uploaded.
4. If I try a “Manual Start” I get an “inverter started” message but there is no response from the motor ( and zero volts on the motor terminals ). I accept this may be because the inverter power stage does not work. However because I have no confidence any of my entered values are actually getting into the control board I cannot be sure.
In summary:-
- No entered data seems to actually get into the parameter table
- The flash memory does not appear to work
Is there anything I am doing wrong? I have followed the application instructions as far as I can see.

Re: Tesla SDU board not setting parameters
Ok, lets go over this.
1. fslipspnt and ampnom is volatile. Also, a bit un-intuitive, the parameter download reflects the state since the last refresh
2. So you set boost=1234, save, turn off, turn on, refresh and it returns to what? Previous value? The default (1700)? When you load from flash, what message is displayed? "OK" or "CRC error"?
3. Same as 1
4. Read here: https://openinverter.org/wiki/Schematic ... _the_motor
I think there are some misconceptions in your way and the hardware should be alright.

Re: Tesla SDU board not setting parameters [SOLVED]
Thanks Johannes, I think resolved now
If I change set boost to 1234, save to flash, then turn off and on again, 1234 re-appears
If I then change set boost to 4000, and then load from flash, I get the message "parameters loaded" but set boost still shows 4000 - however if I then do a refresh it goes to 1234. So looks like one has to do a load and then a refresh.
Also now all the "spot" values make sense.
I think the volatility of the only two values I tried to change, together with the need to refresh after load were what had me confused. Apologies for getting it wrong.
I still haven't tried to run the motor again, but I understand this is out of your court.
