Hi,
I got a Tesla Model-S PTC heater and would preferable control it by CAN. Does someone have a logfile of the CAN-4 bus of a model-S ? There are several logs around from the other CAN-busses, unfortunately did not find one of the CAN4 yet.
Alternatively I will modify the heater to accept a single PWM signal for controlling the IGBT's.

Hi,
Did you manage to get it working?
Do you have site or blog of your project
since i'm from the netherlands too i'm very interested.
When you connect the device, which messages does it send out?
I will check if i can find something. I have something but i need to know what it sends out right now.
CANBUS is quite my playground

Re: Tesla PTC cabin heater // Model-S CAN4 logfile
Did not connect the heater yet. The dimensions are larger as expected and it will be difficult to fit in my original BMW heater box. So I ordered some smaller (non-tesla) heaters, unfortunately not CAN-controlled (I assume LIN).
