Three way switch gear selector & inverter configuration over wi-fi software download?

Howdy folks,

Would I be able to use a simple on-off-on switch as a gear selector with a Tesla LDU (with the opensource board) if wired correctly?
Also, when connecting my tablet to the inverter to configure the inverter settings via wi-fi, will software on my tablet be downloaded from the inverter to use as an interface or is there a software link to install on my tablet?

Asking these questions as research and searching on the forum hasn't found me an answer, though please lead me to a thread where this has been answered.

On-off-on will do the trick, just wire to the REV and FWD inputs.
When connecting, you need to go to 192.168.4.1 in your web browser -- there's a small webserver running 'on' the board.
