Hi there i was watching some videos about diy ev chargers and i found this github open Sourced ev charger
that was sold as a kit by http://www.emotorwerks.com around 7 years ago but now thay are not selling it anymore
I was thinking if we could get it done by jlcpcb or maybe someone here Can bring it back to life for us to use and the idea is we all can just Order parts main boards and stuff through jlcpcb or pcbway and put all the parts togather
This is the github page https://github.com/valerun/VMCharger

It is not dead at all. I am using my 3phase version of it and i can use it up to 18kw with air cooling.Amoor wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 2:21 am Hi there i was watching some videos about diy ev chargers and i found this github open Sourced ev charger

Valery told me he sold the rights to some other firm.
And firmware is semi opensource. As long as you have it for personal use... etc.
If you are interested i can post my files. I just returned to old V9 iso124 op amp design because it seems more stable than V13.
I only use buck mode from 600vdc rectified 3phase. I never even tried PF from single phase. So much isolated chargers for 1phase are available nov it is not worth the price... 3phase evse hovever...

It would be a good idea if you shared the files so i can take a look at so do others here
At this stage i didnt fix my mind yet on what charger should i use and what fits with my need
I need at least 6kw diffrent voltages starting from@320ish near gs 450h orignal battery voltage and then most likely i will go up to 500 vdc And i need something that will allow me to change voltages for my testing
this charger have it all thats why i am interested in it
