SDU regen help
Hi Forum. I am having an issue trying to get regen to work on my SDU without using throttle min (0 to -100). If I set a negative number in throttle min I can get regen so that proves that is working however I dont want regen unless braking. I can see brake_on is functioning and the value from pot2 varies as it should. I have tried different values in the regen area but for reference I have returned to the default values. Have set Pot2 min = 50, Pot2 max = 4095. Software is as supplied with board from Johannes. Thanks in advance. Peter

Re: SDU regen help
Set brknom and brkmax=0. Set brknompedal to the regen amount you want when pot2 is at maximum.

Re: SDU regen help
Hi Johannes. I tried your suggestion, sadly it didnt provide regen. I have my settings here in case something else is inhibiting regen.
Please excuse the settings via picture, I must work out how to copy them to PC from my mobile. Thanks once again. Peter

Re: SDU regen help
Update. Setting throttlemin to -100 and brknompedal to -25 (regen rate varies with value) allows me to have regen via brake pedal but pot2 doesnt seem to provide a variable regen. Investigation continues...

Is the digital brake pedal switch connected? (din_brake)

Re: SDU regen help
Hi Johannes. I get the change from OFF to ON in the parameters
Setting throttlemin to -100 allowed regen when braking, just need to make pot2 vary the regen and off we go. MOT (TUV) test Tuesday, fingers crossed all will go well. Last year passed no problem however that was with Enova motor, MOT tester will take the car for a test drive, he is so enthusiastic with the car I may not get it back !!

Re: SDU regen help
Solved the issue, thanks to all. Settings as per Johannes suggestion and kept throttlemin at -100. Set brknompedal to -45 (in my case) and made sure pot2 min value was below the minimum value of the pot.
