I picked up a sdu i was wondering can the inverter be Relocated?
Obviously cover plates need to be made what size wire would be sufficient?

I have the same question / situation. I used/plan to use 70mm2.
The acces holes to the motor poles now have a cover plate with 3 EMC clamps.

The encoder and thermistor I used 7x0.5mm2 wire.

I made alloy cover for the inverter and a cover for the engine.

I will post some pictures in my build thread when I mount it.

Yes I'm doing it for my 1991 300ce mercedes-benz conversion project. Only have 18.5 in to install sdu rear.

Mind sharing the cad for the endplate. After destroying two sdu inverters with my v4 board I might try with a less expensive volt inverter.
