No, I’m going to sell the components. I don’t have as much spare time anymore anytime soon.

How scarce are those golfs? Can't you convert another one?
Would be quite easy since allot fits?

P.s. if I think what you are telling without telling it: congratulations 🙂

Mind sharing the settings if you have them saved? Which version is it on?

Anyone have a good known beginning set for the latest firmware version?

I did a full dump of my current LDU parameters for normal driving and modified anything that I’m doing over CAN to be a reasonable starting static value.

Hi
I have a SDU fitted into an alfa 147. I wonder about the brake signal that goes into pin 10. Is it enough to have the brake light switch from pin 15 to steer the regen?

You can do that, control will just be very basic regen on/off. In addition you can configure off pedal regen that is proportional to how much you come off the throttle

Thanks Johannes,
Another question; Im having the SDU in opposite direction. Is there any way to change the fwd/reverse direction in the parameters or does it matter? Im thinking about the cruise, does it work in rev direction? And the CAN signal, does it give negative speed when going in reverse?

You can swap the meaning of forward and reverse inputs
Cruise works both directions
Speed is always positive

I bought a gaming joystick to use as a selector. But most project I seen have a knob. Does the signal input for fwd, backwrd need to be constant or can they be of pulse type?

in the settings there is an option to use a constant signal or pulse. so maybe you can use it.

Now that I have a lot of street miles and drag strip passes on it, I think my current street tune is ready to be shared.

Vehicle Information
1940 Chevrolet Coupe
3510 lbs with driver (1592kg)
Base LDU
2x 2nd generation Chevrolet Volt batteries in parallel
Significant rear weight bias (center of gravity behind the drivers seat)
On 275/65R15 drag radials
Firmware v5.27

This tune is an aggressive street tune, and on track will get me a 12.1 second 1/4 mile time at around 110 mph. It drives fairly well, though there is room for additional regen tuning. I think off throttle is a little weak and on brake pedal is a little strong.

By lowering fweak to 248, I can get into the 11s, but that tune isn't fully sorted yet, it has one drag strip pass and a few street miles on it.

I am planning to do more data logging and tuning in the future, and will update if/when I have a better set to share. I'm also planning on updating to firmware v5.35, which others have seen improve performance, so I'll update on that too.
