Are there any salvage inverters with openinverter boards capable of 1000A DC or 900A phase?
I'm very open to running a salvage inverter if there's one capable of 1000A for 75ish seconds.

Well there is Ampera inverter with 2x 600A igbt power sections. You could parallel both for 500A twin into single motor.
Also that inverter can run its logic from 50Vdc to 420Vdc. This is what makes it stand out...
See my posts under gm chevrolet section.
There is another inverter Zapi AC5e 120Vdc capable of 1000A. See if you can get a programming unit for it.

You're using a Lebowski chip in yours though, right?
I'm not capable of dev work, so whatever we do, we'd be reliant on others to design and build the boards. We're running an induction motor, so I think the Lebowski chip is out?
I'll check out the Zapi!

True Lebowski dont work with ACIM. But Volt inverter worked perfectly well with my Mazda ACIM motor and OI brain board. I did use only one side but i had a pcb made to drive both power sections. Control interface would be by single/dual encoder or resolver.coleasterling wrote: ↑Wed Oct 05, 2022 8:01 pm You're using a Lebowski chip in yours though, right?

If you like i can send one board to you? Any development you did would be mostly setting parameters and soldering...
