More context! We can't read your mind. What do you want to do?

Re: what to do for IGBTs?
Ultimately I want to drive an I-MiEV motor.
My question was general because it seems like there should be a driving concept here, and I'm wondering what it is...

Re: what to do for IGBTs?
Find a good OEM inverter and use OI control board with that motor. I bet you can get good 60kW from Prius Gen2 and Gen3 inverter.
Unless you want to learn about building power stages i woould advise against using individual IGBTs for your power stage. OEMs built it better and cheaper already.
Do you have a matching inverter with your motor by chance? If so i would advise to go and reverse engineer its drive CAN telegrams. Find a working I-MIEV to copy its telegrams. As people tell me Outlander and I-MIEV drive protocols are really similar.

I -wish- I had the matching inverter, but alas no
I'll look into the Prius inverter - thanks!
