Paralleling PWM outputs and sensor inputs

Post by arber333 »

Hi Johannes

I have here 2 600A power stages in one casing. Since we now know your software reliably works i propose a crazy idea.
What if i would parallel both sides of Volt inverter?
My plan is the following:
1. I will use two inverter chips SN74LS06 and ill feed them from a single input being Olimex STM32 chip.
2. I will also parallel current sensor inputs. Volt inverter current inputs are allready all in one place. Now to do paralleling i propose to feed from each symmetrical sensor signal each through a 2K2 resistors then join that 5V signal and pull it down by 3K3 resistor. That will again form divider 1K2/3K3. By then signal will be muxed and if any sensor will go off chart it will trip OC circuit because of misproportion. Do you think it will work?

Bump. I’m looking to do the same.

I have put the boards for manufacture. I made two concepts. First is interface board to connect Rev 2 johannes main board and entails sensor and driver parts.
Second is complete Volt inverter board with one motor controler and parallel outputs - or not if you choose to only use one side. Additionally there is a lebowski brain to drive AC compressor. Both drives have CAN bus interfaces.
