I have a Tesla SDU with OpenInverter board and a repackaged MG ZS EV battery.
The MG battery comes with a 'penthouse' with contractors and pre-charge relay.
The wiring to the OpenInverter comms connector shows lines for 'main contractor [sic] relay' (P3) and 'pre-charge relay' (P11)
Does this mean the SDU inverter contains contacts and pre-charge resistor? Do I just connect high voltage straight up to it?
Basic Tesla SDU question

Re: Basic Tesla SDU question
Ahh, ok. I assume that is the contactor coil shown in the diagram on the Main and Pre-charge lines. So the OpenInverter board pulls them low when it switches them on.
Makes perfect sense now thanks.
