Throttle Pedal Parameter settings

Post by r1ckyb0nd »

I have a Ford Focus accelerator pedal that I have connected to the Openinveter board of a Telsa SDU. When I got to set Potmin and PotMax from the plotted points in the web gui, I can only go upto 3500 for Potmax, when plotting Potmax it goes up to 4095 and then stops, I am assuming this is because that is a default max setting set somewhere. The voltage on my meter goes from 0.76 Potmin to 3.94 Potmax.

Do I need to add a resistor in the accelerator signal path to reduce voltage even further, for the pot values to be within range of the setting parameters?

Thank you. I knew I read it somewhere but could not find it again last night.
