German TUEV your papers

Post by bewo »

Hi guys,
I'm wondering how your German road legal papers look like. We have a self configured battery. For that reason we have maybe more entries in the papers than you guys. You will see that some things are not right, if you try to control with the calculator. I don't want to blame anyone here, just want to know how it's documented in your papers. (Try to translate that to English)
  • Motor is From Tesla S
  • Motormount ist self created
  • System has 157,5 Volts
  • 180 battery cells a 3.2V EVE .....
  • Capacity 60,48 kWh
  • Interconnection 2P90S
  • Battery box is made of Aluminium
  • Charger are mounted on an Aluminium plate behind the radiator grille. Manufacturer .... 230V/16A.....
  • Heater PTC element manufactor..... 2x 2.235 kWh
  • Brakes with vacuum pump manufacturer...... connected with Klemme 15
  • Inverter Curtis 1239e.......
  • DC/DC converter Meanwell RSP-1500
  • Chargeport Type 2
  • Range about 250 km
Are your papers as detailed as ours? Having a look in the papers of a Cupra Born there is nothing written in that detail. No Volts, no charge port type, only the capacity is documented

The technical information on the Cupra born would be on the COC document not on the registration papers. Why don't you just contact the TÜV directly? I did so in Austria for a USA import Nissan leaf and they gave me a list of what I need and the costs involved.

I know that all informations are in the COC.
In the German papers of the Born you find the capacity as well. Point D.3 (Handelsbezeichnung / trade name) the entry is: BORN 170 KW 60/63 KWH.

I just want to know whether you guys have such a detailed information in your conversion papers as well. Like we have in the papers of the VW T5
