Hello from Germany

Post by cmon »

Hi everyone

I recently picked up a GS450H gearbox with inverter, and also got Damien's GS450H VCU board with the kit.
Right now, I don't even have a car with broken engine - my goal for the moment is just to understand how the whole concept works and get it running on the bench in my workshop.

Eventually, I do want to put it into a car. I'm still totally open to ideas - my budget for the vehicle itself will be around 10-15k.
So far, possible candidates in my head are a Humvee, BMW E31, E32, E34, E65, Mercedes W108, or maybe any cool Benz built before 1995.

I'm new to all this, so any suggestions, advice, or inspiration are more than welcome!

Cheers,
Simon
