Below, a few of the tools I designed and 3D printed.
Inverter stand - No need for wooden blocks or screwing the inverter down for stability.

This is a set of 2 stands to place the rotor on for cleaning.

got a picture of how it works?nubster wrote: ↑Wed Feb 18, 2026 3:52 am Neat, thanks!
Here's an LDU inverter stand I made: https://www.westside-ev.com/s/LDU-Inverter-Stand.stl
Just connect two of them to one of the three metal phase support structures and lay the inverter on its side. Way more stable than vertical.
I completely forgot that I actually shared the inverter stand already. Here's a link to the file.P.S.Mangelsdorf wrote: ↑Thu Feb 19, 2026 1:15 pm "Open Inverter is a community of people and projects focused on open source solutions for EV conversions"
Merriam Webster
open-source, adjective
1) having the source code freely available for possible modification and redistribution
2) publicly available for use by the community at large
I do not begrudge someone having a company and selling a product. I am a capitalist. But this section of the forum is for sharing information about open source solutions. If you want people to know these are available for purchase, that is what the Classifieds section is for. Sharing something cool and then going "but I won't share how" runs completely counter to the purpose of the forum.
