Hvdc contactor, EV200 or gx14

Post by fredd90 »

Hello

Just a quick question, I have got 2 sets of contactors.

2pcs of kilovac ev200

2pcs of gigavac gx14

Which should I choose? Tesla p85 and model 3 battery, both got economizer or dual coil

Gx14 got higher constant current and m10 bolt

EV200 got higher disconnect current and m8 bolt.

I have seen that EV200 commonly used

/Best regards Fredrik

I have used EV200 and it hasnt failed me yet. My current was mainly 400A with up to 800A peaks. Economiser in EV200 is a good thing.
I think Gigavacs are meant for higher current and lower voltage systems.
