Engovis EVS-BMS - still available? And any place ship to North America?

Post by spiff »

Originally, I wanted to get a SimpBMS but saw that the EVS-BMS was a newer version that replaced it. But I can’t find anywhere that has it in stock, much less one that is willing/able to ship to North America (Toronto, Canada specifically). Anyone have any suggestions? I suppose I could get the SimpBMS from eBay, but that seems to be more expensive. Any other options to control a Chevy Volt gen 1 pack?

Thanks in advance!

Vero BMS is also derived from SIMPBMS and is available in North America:

Correct, however it cannot be shipped to North America or sold to anyone in North America.

Legal reasons, I am not up for getting insurance to sell product in North America and dealing with the unneeded stress and hassle associated with the legal side of things there.

Vero Electric used to do Simp-BMS distribution in the USA. Since ending the product they have focused on doing their on product.

Always good experience with Reider (owner of Vero-Electric) and never had bad feedback from customers.

I can vouch for Reider from Vero-Electric. I purchased his VeroBMS and have had great customer support!
