Any recommendations ? What are your experiences ?

Insured it at HUK when it was still a fossil burner. Then told them I'd converted it and ended up paying the same, roughly 300€ this year (Haftpflicht)

Basic 3rd party insurance in Slovenia is still done by kW power. For EVs now they look for 30min power, which is quite more than permanent power, but for older EVs there is no data other than peak power and 60min power. This means for older EVs you can get away with 100€ of basic insurance.
Equipment and value insurance however is quite expensive... like 300€ for glass, lights and deer...
