Is there an open source VCU for the Leaf?

Post by Pagdog »

It seems the only options are commercial projects at several hundred dollars. Am I missing the open source projects?

As royhen99 says, the open source VCU you are looking for is ZombieVerter. This works great with Leaf hardware as well as some others.

If you want to do it really cheap then use an Arduino Due with Damiens Nissan Leaf code but if several hundred dollars for the VCU is an issue then you're probably in the wrong place.
