I am looking to purchase a donor car. There is one available that is a 2015 s p85d. The ad says that it only drives slow, so it must be in limp mode. The error message they are showing is that the battery fuse replacement is required. But it is also showing it is in service plus mode.
From.my research that error alone would not force the car into a constant limb mode. Could this be an indication that the LDU is bad from something like the coolant leak?
Or another issue?

You need to see the full list of error codes displayed while in service plus mode.
That will tell you whats wrong.
Having fixed my own 2015 MS which wouldn't even close the contactors, I'd guess this is worth fixing rather than breaking...
