I was wondering whether these 3D models I spend quite a lot of time making for myself have any value to others, so I decided to put them up for download for a few euros on Etsy.
They're not perfect, but I've found them really useful for figuring out part fitment and layouts once I've managed to draw a reasonably close model of the vehicle itself, and also for presenting what I'm doing to others.
Vehicle Modeling
If you'd like to have a rough drawing of your vehicle's important frame-ish parts (as I call them), try to find a collision repair dimension drawing that pictures the vehicle from top and from the side, like the following one, and go from there.
If you have found said drawing and would like me to draw a quick 3D model of it for you, feel free to contact me, I'll whip up a quick one for cheap because you'll probably also buy some of my models for fitting into it to make a cool looking engineering model of whatever you're designing.

I've attached a random dimensional drawing I picked from a random google search and the resulting model I made of it. It's worth about 15€ of my time. I don't even know what car it is.
Also, it's an investment. Damnit are the engineers impressed when they're shown something like this about a vehicle they need to sign off for you!
So, just PM me and we'll get your lack of 3D vehicle model sorted out.
(130V and the Leaf drivetrain? I wouldn't recommend this particular example build! It would have lots of range though. Until you notice you don't actually have a charger on it...)
