Hello Forum. Looking for some advice here please. I have set up basic trial regen parameters (I am using a Combi V8 board driven inverter) and try a basic regen with motor off load I can see the braking effect and reverse current but then I have to power down and restart the inverter to be able to run again, any clues please ?
Parameters..
Brake pedal pressed
Regen pot set at 0v or 5v makes no difference (need to sort pot use later)
pot2min 4095
pot2max 4095
SingleRegen set
brknompedal -30
brkpedalramp 5
brknom 0
brkmax 0
brkrampstr 10
brkout -10
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Peter

Why do you have to power down and restart? What happens otherwise?

Hello Johannes. Thank you for your reply. The inverter will not allow the motor to run again unless I power down and restart.

Please give us some more info, like fault messages.
Does is restart without regen?
Do you use the web interface?

What do you get if you click the "Display Error Memory" button, after start and when the inverter is not starting again

You can always try as you can just downgrade if you run into issues.
I have no idea what changes I made since.

Hi Johannes. Has anyone ever told you that you are a genius ?? If not may I be the first to say so

My next task is to use the regen pot to control how much regen when brake pedal pressed.

Good to hear

I think I'm gonna delete that fmin parameter and hard code it to a very low value. It's caused a lot of trouble.

I agree, it especially causes problems with low min slip settings. Are there any possible problems from setting it too low?

No the only goal is to have a 0 amplitude criteria. I guess I'll hard-code 0.2Hz
