Re: Chademo with Leaf PDM on Zombi VCU
What year pdm? My van has a 2017 AZE0 from a 30kWh Leaf and the pictures below are from a 2015 24kWh.
If you can’t tiger the dcfc contactors externally then you’ll need to hardwire them unfortunately
I've come to that conclusion as well. So in preparation I lifted the lid on my spare AZE0 ...

Re: Chademo with Leaf PDM on Zombi VCU
I confirmed today that the quick charge contactors are not closing when I power pin 2 with 12 volts and earth pin 10.
What is required to close the contactors in the PDM? I suppose I could brute force it by wiring directly to the contactors but I'd rather not.

I looked again at how the Leaf PDM is wired to the Chademo socket and changed around PDM pins 20-22 as per this diagram.

Re: Chademo with Leaf PDM on Zombi VCU
I know this is an old thread but the topic is relevant to my situation. I'm trying to get Chademo working on my van. I'm using a full Leaf stack from a 30kWh AZE0. The wiring is shown below.

I want the sound of a horse trotting as my sound generator. It's on my to-do list but quite close to the bottom.

A bit more info, when I go to 192.168.4.1/update I can do OTA updates but none of the above files fix the "No SPIFFS Files" error. I had a look at the terminal output, shown below and noticed several warnings.

PXL_20260301_170540547.jpg It's long overdue for an update. I got the van on the road at the beginning of March and has done over 800kms so far (my dash is stuck in km, one of these days I'll figure out how to switch it to miles! :D). It still has some electrical gremlins to chase down. The problem ...

The ZV supports the Nissan Leaf battery pack. The Leaf PDM is also supported but I'm not sure how easy it is to implement outside of the full Leaf stack.

Another option for removing the battery would be to slightly loosen all the bolts holding the battery, then remove all but 4 bolts. Lower the car down so the battery is sitting on a dolley with wheels, then remove the last bolts, jack the car up, slide the battery out and lower car. See my HalfPint ...

Re: Car Lift for Conversion
Do you actually need 70cm, how tall is your battery? I was able to support my van on 4 large axle stands, place the battery on a trolley made from an old door and casters. The casters are tall enough that I can get a floor jack underneath each end of the battery box and the door is thin enough that ...

If you use the full Leaf battery then the ZV can get battery voltage, current and power from the Leaf BMS.

Re: Dual Leaf batteries with ZV
