I've been looking arround the interwebs and the forum for someone who had the same problem as me but in vain.
I'm building a car with the model 3 from and rear subframes, and i'd like to use the power steering rack.
I've tried to connect just the 12v to it but no success, it doesn't go in failsafe ...

Hello,
I did the oven test, here is the setup, an old Stator from a LDU sport, extended wires for the temps sensors and a thermo couple hoked up to my multi meter to have the actual temperature and an other multi meter to measure the resistance of the two stator thermistors.

Re: QCA7000 Foccci+Clara User thread
I do not know the details about the why it fails, but the mappings are at the end of the flash memory in Foccci. So to clean up everything, a "mass erase" of the STM32 on the Foccci board should help. How to do this? Using an STlink programmer, which is connected to the Foccci board via the 3-pin ...

Re: QCA7000 Foccci+Clara User thread
Argh, yes something goes sideways when playing with mappings for a while. Need to implement the clear mapping command over SDO. Now you can only resolve it with an ST Link by deleting the last flash page (loosing parameters and mappings)
Do i need to reflash the wifi board or the Focci itself ...

Got some 5.1 boards but i can't seem to find any information about pinout that are user freindly.
Also on the contactors control on version 4.5b that i integrated in an other project, they were High side switched, is that still the case ?

Re: QCA7000 Foccci+Clara User thread
I finally got arround to making my CCS2 and type 2 work with orion BMS.
I just got one last issue with locking the plug in the socket when charging in AC, it simply doesn't lock at all. for now the BMS sends OBCState to 2 as soon as a plug is plugged.
What am i missing ?

Digging up a relatively old thread but, i'm in the same situation. How did you send 0xFF from foccci to your orion bms ?

Broken focci board ?
I noticed that the wakeup functionality of my 4.5a board doesn't work, it gives 12V but i can't draw the 160mah that my setup uses.
I belive that the missing Q13 and Q11 could be the culprits. I wasn't able to find the schematics of V4.5a on the github

Re: SDU with OI board Max operating voltage
Hi,
The DC link capacitor is rated at 430V on the SDU i was runing a 102S pack limited to 429V and it blew up.
I also know of a system runing 440V on an SDU without problems, so i guess parameters play a big role.

Re: Tesla SDU repair. Over temp
Yes, they are exactly the same casing, bolt holes and everything. As far as i know the powerstage is the same. Just swap your logicboard and make the busbars.
Yes your link to an FDU is what you would need.

Re: Tesla SDU repair. Over temp
Yes same inverters, the phase wires are about 40mm shorter on the Front drive unit, so you'll need to make some little busbars to be able to connect the phase wire to the motor.

Re: Focci CCS2/OBC/Orion BMS wiring diagram
for the wakeup,
The orion bms expect a 12v when the plug is inserted/ when the bms needs to send the charge commands.
The OBC sends a 12V when the AC is applied.

Re: Tesla SDU repair. Over temp
Hi,
Most likely one on the igbt is dead, that's why the inverter shuts off. The SDU inverter is really hard to repair, and usually it'smore economical to get a front drive unit and take the inverter.

Hello,
I'm planing the integration of the focci module in one of my conversions.
I wasn't able to find a wiring diagram so I made one, if those who have integrated it could correct me if need be, i'll make the updates so it can be usefull for others.
