From your pictures I can’t see any of the current sensors connected? If you leave them disconnected and the pins are floating without turning them off in code there’s and chance the the code will see a current higher than the current limit and not increase pwm, I also can’t see anything there for ...

What does your “throttle PWR actual” read when you press the throttle if this changes from 0 then you are making pwm, does your teensy pwm 4 trigger a logic level fet that drives all of the inverter pwm pins low?

Also why remove the inverter temperature part of the code? This gives you on chip ...

Hard to see from your pictures exactly how your hv inverter wiring is done, you should have battery positive and negative present at the inverter brick inputs, battery neg also connects to motor neg, and motor pos connects to phase outputs,

I ordered some more parts frim digikey to build another damien-dc-motor-controller. When I first started to build my own card I had ordered 3 boards. So I decided to start again fresh.

I added each part, checking to make sure there were no shorts on each contact for each component.

In that same video you posted Damien mentions that the pwm signal he is generating gets boosted to 12 volts before being fed to the Gen 2 PWM pin. I had seen the same voltage earlier and was confused.....but this is expected.

Hey Eric, sounds like you have everything wired up right, is your inverter casing grounded to chassis? you could check the voltage on pin 27 and 22 (MG2 Inverter Fail & MG1 Inverter Fail) IIRC they are around 2.5v when all is well and jump up closer to 12v when the inverter is in fault.

I pulled Pin 14 GSDN and Pin 25 high with 12 volts.
I then tested the inverter again. Now I have the output to the 12 volt battery working with 14.5 volts charging the car battery.

I need a little help getting my Prius Gen 2 inverter to come alive.

Here is what I have:
167 volt lithium pack
HV control: 2 contactors for bat neg and 2 contactors for bat positive
Bleeder resistor connected between bat neg and controller neg

All three Prius inverter MG1 and MG2 output ...

If I am not mistaken, Damien's tests for MG1 and MG2 were conducted using only one phase for each test before the Prius shut down. So 250 and 360 amps represents 1/3 of the potential total amps possible for each motor.
