SDU HV Wiring

Post by modellfan »

Which wiring diameter does the Tesla SDU Rear Unit have? I got some 50mm² cables with fitting connectors, but they they FJB Side on them.
I will add the information to the wiki, if somebody can confirm.

Does somebody know the cable size from the rapid splitter to the charger and to the front junction box / front sdu ? The cable to the rear LdU are according to Weber 50sqmm cables . From charge port to obc as well 50sqmm.

I am thinking to purchase the harness to use it fully in my project .

FWIW, we have the older version of this (1054500-10-E). The shorter sets of leads (one ending in spades, and the other with Rosenberger HPK ends) are 35mm2; the longer lead (again, with Rosenberger HPK ends) is 50mm2.

We also used a 1050805-10-F cable assembly (which has a 450A inline fuse) in a project and found it's 35mm2 throughout.
