I edited my previous post as I was wrong regarding the lack of this jumper on OEM I3 harnesses, they have the jumper...
The BMW IX3 has a different connector so I can't with compare with that one... but the i8 has the same connector and also the Jumper between 2B-3 and 2B-4, the BMW 330e HV loom ...

...No such jumper to be seen on OEM harnesses for the i3 (even for MY2021) ... only on the MINI !
I was wrong I found better pictures on the Internet, there IS a jumper on the I3 OEM harness... between 2B-3 and 2B-4
and the charge socket ground pin is on 2B-5... my apologies !

The LIM 2B connector pinout assigment as described on the Wiki seems a bit weird to me:
2B Pinout:
2B-1 CP Pilot (charge port) ~620 ohms to GND is needed if no original i3 charge port is used!
2B-2 PP Proximity (charge port)
2B-3 Jumper Connected to Pin 4
2B-4 Jumper Connected to Pin 3 ...

This is awesome ! I also have a project with more than 80s (actually 220S and up to 220S4P)
I bet that gsyuasa is using the exact same CMU board for their industrial battery modules where there is no such 11CMU limitation so I assume we should be able at some point in time to break this limitation ...

The advertised connector terminals for the Chargeport lock are wrong, it's not MQS but MCON 1.2 (1.2 SealStar MA Connector series from Hirschmann)

Here some details on the Mini-e charging socket:
the Charge port lock is mounted on the side making the whole thing quite compact. Same Kuster Lock as on the i3, and I guess same connector for Inlet temperature...

Based on the isolated amplifier AMC3302DWE from Texas Instruments, it outputs an low impedance analog voltage between 1.42V and 4.8V corresponding to the input voltage of 0V-500V. Isolation is over 2000V, power supply is only required on the low voltage side.
