For 1500 without an inverter, and no support from aftermarket for decent prices. Other motors are better options. You can get a more powerful m3 motor with built-in inverter for half that price. And there is a good amount of support.

With the new board does this make the 990 have the same output potential as 980 models?

I have a Ford Focus accelerator pedal that I have connected to the Openinveter board of a Telsa SDU. Is there a way to modify the SDU to not need the Telsa specific HV cables, or a better place to find them then the high prices on Ebay?

Looking to buy a donor car
I am looking to purchase a donor car. There is one available that is a 2015 s p85d. The ad says that it only drives slow, so it must be in limp mode. The error message they are showing is that the battery fuse replacement is required. But it is also showing it is in service plus mode.

I am starting to gather parts together to try and get one of these spinning. After reaserching this forum and other sources I am thinking the Chevy Volt Inverter in parallel will provide the necessary power. I am going to with Jack's board to control the inverter.

This is also a replacement board that I think works with gen 1 leaf inverters that connects open Inverter brain to it.

I was hoping to match both the replacement board and zombie. I am under the impression that replacing the board will allow you to go past the 80kw of the stock limit, and zombie will.allow you to control it via can bus.

Wiki update for inverter limits
On the wiki there is the table for the current supported OEM inverters, can we had a column to it that has max KW achieved with either zombie or oi inverter?
I will try to gather this information from the forum, but I am sure people already know this off their head.
