Tesla Model 3 penthouse schematic
Hi,
can anyone point me to a schematic of a M3 penthouse? I need to reconfigure one and it would be a lot easier with a drawing of the high voltage side.
Thanks, Gary

Tesla M3 battery module position
I’m reconfiguring a model 3 standard range plus battery into a two over two configuration. The BMS boards are labeled 1-4 and they are connected in series like that. I would like to connect them in series 1-3-2-4 would this cause a problem stock charger? The reason is to keep the bolt hold downs all ...

I'm going to pick up the body in Florida next week and once I get it on the frame I will know more. I would ...

Re: Kia EV6 2p6s modules
I’m not sure about how to string them together was thinking putting 2 modules is parallel and 15 series. The motor is a M3 980 motor. I’m new at this any suggestions are more than welcome. I understand it won’t be cheap. Any oem ones that would work?

Over Current errors SOLVED
I just started my Tesla SDU for the first time and was getting over current errors. I turned out to be the HV cables to the motor not seated and the interlock was not being made. I stumbled on a post that spoke about the interlocks. Just something to keep in mine when you see this error.

I found the calibration area ad put in a value nothing changed. Put the old value in and it is now correct. I'll take it.

I’m testing battery packs from a Honda Clarity.
If I take my multimeter and check the cells they are all 3.97 but this reading is not the same in the jk app note cell 1 resistance and voltage. Any thoughts as to why?

Test Bench setup
Hi,
I'm just about ready to install my board in a Tesla S SDU. I would like to set up a test bench to simulate the battery pack, what voltage and current is is a good start for testing to get the motor spinning?

Re: Tesla SDU forward direction
As I am about to install my SDU which will be running in reverse based on the normal Tesla layout should I be concerned ?? I have removed the mechanical oil pump and added an external electric oil pump so thats not the issue.
Peter,
What did you use for a pump? Is there a thread on this mod ...

Dual motor project
Hi,
I tried to search this but came up with nothing. I'm think of a two tesla motor build. What are the issues with syncing the motors to work together. I have a Tesla LDU and A SDU for the project. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Gary

On a Tesla SDU can the motor be used in either direction for forward? I'm trying to decide how to mount it in a Mini Cooper.
