+rv is a typo, it's +12v.
1968 Land Rover Series 2a 109 Station Wagon
Re: 1968 Land Rover Series 2a 109 Station Wagon
Loving reading these project threads, inspiring.
I learn't to drive in my Dad's Series III 2 1/4 petrol Landrover.
I remember on a family camping trip driving through France it being more sluggish than normal and we discovered the throttle pedal was just a lever clamped arround a bar, which had swiveled down a little! A quick lift and nip and she was off like a scolded cat (relatively speaking)! So much so that she would do 50mph with the caravan behind! On the next long hill I remember the outfit starting to snake down the road! no doubt helped by the 1/4 play in steering box!
Hopefully you'll be improving the steering and the 4x drum brakes as well.
Tom.

Im getting close. Pictures to follow. Im checking in here today because Im very close to a test fire. Motor has been modified with new gears from Zero EV by way of Amprevolt. Batteries are mounted into plywood battery boxes (version 3.0). Plumbing has been sorted. Low voltage wiring harness has been replaced. I have power to the negative contractor and precharge relay and was stuck on the Positive contractor not activating. After giving it a rest (Nap) I realized I was testing without any high voltage input and this is probably why the contractor won't activate. Back to the shop. Hopefully I can post a wheels spinning video soon.

Whelp, I hooked up 4 Tesla Modules for 95V, accessed the wi fi portal, made the changes to udcsw and udcmin and changed max voltage to 95. Turned the key switch and heard the click of the negative contractor and then the precharge relay.... then hit the "start" switch and ......
nuthin......
bummer....
not sure where to go from here... guess ill sleep on it again....
just saw the post at the top of the page that + rv is a typo for +12 volts..... lol. maybe someone can edit that diagram for future generations
More pics too! Notice the custom driveshaft

95volt battery
Udcsw set to 85
Udcmin set to 0
Udcmax set to 95
Pot mode set to dual channel ?
Updated to 5.00.R-sine
No activation of poasitive contactor when 12 v applied

On a brighter note I got my parts from Send Cut Send for my control box .. looks pretty darn good.

Udcmax needs to be higher than the present battery voltage for contactor to close, right?

Hey, did you end up solving this and getting it on the road? Interest to learn how the 4wd system worked out for you and how you set it up.
