ZombieVerter Display

I've been working on a cut down interface for ZombieVerter that runs on a Lilygo T-Embed device. It also allows for setting of some parameters. More will be added.

This uses Can SDO to send and request values from ZombieVerter. To Edit a value, click the central button once, rotate the rotary ...

The soldering on the waveshare board pins doesn't look great. Id start there. GP16 and GP17 you can see around the pins

ah, if you're able, would you grab a HTM when going from stationary to driving forward a little?

Any of these captures from HTM from stationary to moving off in EV mode?

Re: GS450H gearbox with Camry inverter G9200-33171

Zombieverter also has 2 digipots. I use them for my fuel gauge in the BMW. There's 2 params, DigiPot1Steps and DigiPot2Steps that set the 'steps' of each of the 10k pots, I can get about 5% resolution using them.

Re: GS450h smoothness at very low speed.

I'm using the 450h inverter, using the sync serial comms. I do have regen, but it's not active at this low of RPM. I'm still experimenting with creep, but I'm not a fan of it, but maybe it'll help diagnose. It seems to not like low torque requests. If I set off a bit quicker its smoother.

Not sure ...

GS450h smoothness at very low speed.

How's everyones GS450h perform at walking pace? For example in crawling traffic?

Mine can be quite jerky but very smooth once moving and I've trying to address.

My setup is:
GS450h with ZombieVerter 1.21 release.
I use the blended motor option, but seems the same with MG1+MG2, MG1 only, MG2 only ...

Re: Lexus gs450h high pitch noise

I replaced the transmission. Only thing I found was the hole for the internal oil pump was damaged. I didn't fancy all the effort to put it back in without it just incase it wasn't it.

Got a video of the noise? My first transmission developed a nasty noise after 1k miles. I didn't find out what caused it.

The code hasn't been used in anger and only bench tested. The eventual aim is to have zombie able to control it as IO addon

There's nothing on can bus for heating that I can find. For the moment Ive used the can mapping of zombie to map the AC button to control the heater.

Will need something else if/when I get to AC and want my button back.

Re: [Driving] BMW E91 320d 2006

Everything is under the bonnet so the whole passenger compartment is untouched, which was one of the main goals of the project, along with ~100 miles range. Heating and AC (not there yet)

I have read the 2 phase 7.2kw units can be recoded to single phase , think there's a video on the forum somewhere about it.

Re: will this work with foccci, LDU, VCU, OBC and BMS ?

This configuration will not work out of the box, the ISA shunt is required to complete precharging. It's used to measure the DC bus voltage.

There are ways around this if you're more technically capable.

I have mine powered on with the negative contactor, then you can either use PP detect or something like LIM/Foccci to wake up for charge.
