Re: STANDARD WINDOWS IDE FOR STM32
I'm still on windows 7 will it work on that?
Your question is not obvious what you mean.
Python is required in "make deps" which uses python script to download libs.
You have to have python in your system and pointed in your system PATH.
To check if it's visible, run CMD and put "python ...

Re: Prius Gen 3 Dual Motor Logic Board Support Thread
Alerted by your posts I started to check my power converters, because I didn't used them at my stage of development yet.
And I must say:
1. XL1509-5.0 is a complete piece of crap. Firstly it supposed to give 5V, but it gave 9V. After adding external resistor to its internal voltage divider it gave ...

Re: STANDARD WINDOWS IDE FOR STM32
Well, I have bare metal with linux, so no problem there.
The real challenge is to setup all of this under windows

And by running virtual linux just to have compiler it's some kind of overkill, or the ultimate windows solution XD

Re: STANDARD WINDOWS IDE FOR STM32
Intrigued by this topic I started to experiment myself with VSC IDE, but I'm bumped over compiling under WIN10.
How did you guys managed to compile arm code if there is no "make" under powershell?
I'm managed to install with chocolatey some gnu-make version, but it throws `LoopFillZerobss' error.

You could look at "Cortex Builder" plugin.
It was tested only on Win10, but it may run on Linux.

Maybe it's just me, but I like quiet.
But if you need some noise, you have system all ready on board. You can use frequency of the motor coils. If you have more than one motor -it's even better!

Thanks DarkwingDuck.
So from the video:
Chemistry: pouch Li-NMC, nom: 3.65V, max: 4.2V
Capacity: 12kWh
Voltage: 350V
Construction: 6x16S with liquid cooled plates in-between
weight: 16S = 13.6kg so whole pack = 81.6kg (with case and jewelry about 90-100kg)
Contactors: 450V 150A

for a hardware platform you can use this:

It has 3.7V lipo connector and charger, but CAN wont work.
For CAN you have to connect to external power input 9-30V tolerant.

Re: Volvo XC90 from Sweden
As far as I know Sweden doesn't salt snow
They use rubber with spikes.
But you are right, salt makes cars corrode. And I think that it's used on purpose, to shorten life of a car and recycle faster.
And Volvos, at least the old ones, have good corrosion protection.

I'm thinking about to convert my old V70 to electric tank, but it's my family car for now.
So I'm thinking if anyone from Sweden wishes me to help with import one of old XC90 to replace my trusty V70?
I've never been to Sweden, but I think it's the wright place to get Volvos from

"gearbox from GS450h" is the electric motor, but check if you have with oil pump -it's commonly removed.
If you have one -change bearings.

Re: SinCos encoder and sincosofs
According to datasheet you've provided you should see 1.9V .. 4.1V on the sine output. If you put resistor on the line, it should be lower.
Probably your offset is not in the middle of sine amplitudes.

On the screenshot of the oscilloscope you have set offset of -2V.
