Re: GS450h smoothness at very low speed.
For sure, but this release does contain some throttle fixes that was causing the worst of the issues, at least in my case. Well worth upgrading.
Sure.. Try the release 2.22.. Throttle smoothness resolved.. Speaking as I've been upgrading since version 1. To the latest.. Also check your throttle ...

We have a lot of spare parts, base, sport...
1 phase or whole inverter?
Repairing is possible, but mosfet mid under is diffecult/hard to replace.

Looking for Ldu inverter for replacement
Unfortunately my Ldu blew up, water penetrated after a heavy rainfall, did diode test and one of my phase drivers has blown mosfets.. I could repair the unit but I'm skeptical and want to replace it.. Wonder if someone has a torn down good inverter.

Re: Self-accerelation like normal vehicle
There is blended MG1 and MG2.
There now is also an improvement of the base level throttle code coming.
Chluckyness of GS450h is something that likely cannot be resolved fully, as it can be a mix of mechanical slop/not ideal control loops/using it out of its intended usage.
It is an opensource ...

Re: Tesla PCS controller newer FW Version (1.16?)
Hi.
My PCS had version 1.16 (before I "updated" to the latest on git).
Now after update I have 1.01, So I believe there are newer versions available but can't find any.
If anyone have a link or do have I'm happy to receive.

Re: Self-accerelation like normal vehicle
Not here wont. Bigpie says he tried to implement creep mode but it did not make anything better for this GS450h so its NOT in the next release.
Throttle smoothness improvements have been made for the next release.
noted, the feature that really assisted in clunkness of the gs450h was adaptive ...

Re: Self-accerelation like normal vehicle
Sure but it is quite some work to get it properly working with the regen and such without creating a dangerous condition.
It is called "creep" as in no feet on pedals having a positive torque request. Do not call it self-acceleration.
not something that I would want to code in without being able ...

Could it be possible to implement little accerelation when off the brake just like a normal vehicle, to simulate a scenario of stop go traffic? Re: Gs450h electric parking Brake
I used a window motor from an Audi A4 (cheapest on eBay) connected to where the GS's shift lever used to fit. The PRNDL switch on the side of the gearbox provides feedback telling the motor when to stop turning.
The Audi A4 unit has two relays built in, one for up and one for down, cross wired to ...

Re: Orion BMS issues [SOLVED]
That's a handy trick! Unfortunately (fortunately) the lightbulb did not light.
I have been using bare copper wire, but I doubt this is the root of the issue. The wires have no corrosion upon visual inspection, measure 0ohms with a multimeter, and when driving with this issue the internal ...

Re: Nissan Leaf A/C compressor 92600-3NF0A
As always a meter in diode mode will tell you. If it displays 0.7V or so you have found reversed polarity. Or just connect your lab supply, see in which direction it shorts out.
